Impact Report
At Habitat for Humanity of the Sanford Area, NC, we seek to put God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope. We are determined, brave, and solve problems. We tackle big challenges, such as building homes for low-income families and removing the barriers to homeownership by providing a 0% mortgage. In the past four years, we have built a total of 6 homes without borrowing any money or receiving any government funding. We also address the issue of aging in place for our elderly population, who live on a fixed income, to enter and exit their homes safely. We do not charge for these repairs and do not expect repayment.
