Habitat ReStore

Great stuff. Great prices. Great cause.

Habitat ReStore sells donated, new, and gently used building materials, appliances, furniture, décor, and more at a fraction of retail prices.  The ReStore also prevents tons of waste from ending up in landfills every year!

 

Proceeds from the ReStore support affordable housing for low-income families in Lee County.   Inventory changes daily, so shop often!

Donate to the ReStore

Donations are accepted during store hours.  Large item pickups may be scheduled by calling 919-774-6767.

 

ReStore welcomes donations which are clean, in good condition, and working order.  We reserve the right to respectfully refuse any item offered for donation that does not meet our qualifications for resale.

Acceptable items:

  • Electric Appliances less than 8 years old

  • Plumbing fixtures less than 8 years old

  • Cabinets/Doors/Windows/Hardware

  • Clothing and Home Décor

  • Building Materials/Lighting Fixtures/Tools & Accessories

    • ​EXCEPTIONS:  No fire extinguishers, smoke/CO detectors, ladders without OSHA stickers, or halogen/fluorescent lights.

  • Children's items

    • EXCEPTIONS:  No drop-side cribs or recalled items.

  • Furniture

    • EXCEPTIONS:  No particle board, entertainment centers, pianos, sleeper sofas, mattresses or box springs.

  • Computers/electronics less than 8 years old

    • EXCEPTIONS:  Only flat screen TV's or monitors, hard drives must be cleared, no printers or scanners.

  • Household Goods

    • EXCEPTIONS: Used ice makers, corded blinds, or unframed glass.

  • Lawn and Garden

    • EXCEPTIONS:  No pump sprayers​ or chemicals.

  • Paint Supplies

    • EXCEPTIONS:  No​ chemicals, items containing lead, oil based paints, rusty or unlabeled paint cans.

Items Not Accepted:

We do not accept any item that is stained, dirty, rusty, missing pieces, has an odor, or contains asbestos, lead paint, chemicals, flammable gasses or liquids.
